Videography
Videography is the art or process of recording images with a video camera. From covering an event to a full production package, Vision & Voice has you covered. The videographer kit includes Sony HVR-Z5U High Definition camera, Manfrotto tripod and control arm, Sennheiser microphones and Lowel lights. A portable background kit is also available to bring the studio to you.
Photography
My photography dates back to the pre-digital era of 35mm film and slides, which in terms of the history of the world, is not really that long ago. Nowadays we can shoot an assignment in the morning and have client approval in the afternoon in another city. Previously we would have to get the film or slides developed and printed, then shipped by courier. Specializing in event photography.
Video Editing
The post production stage. As in all things digital, video editing is now nonlinear and computer based. Apple Final Cut Pro is my editing software of choice. Motion graphics, titles are added. Still images or photos are prepared for video in Photoshop. Colour is graded, and sound sweetened. Music, narration and natural sound are added to the mix.
Voice Over/Narration
Gerry Fraiberg is a veteran broadcast journalist, with 20 years of radio news experience. He has a warm and friendly, yet authoritative delivery, which will give voice to your story. Polished and professional.
Having also worked in radio production, Gerry is skilled in creating aural imagery with sound effects and music. Digital audio field recording is also available.
Script Writing
A good story starts with a good script. In the beginning was the word. And it was good. Words have been an essential part of human communication for thousands of years. But how those words are put together – the structure of any script, story, training project or web site – is the key to good communication.
A former broadcast journalist, Gerry Fraiberg has 20 years of experience in researching and writing stories on a daily basis. And he has written many video scripts.
Video Delivery
Will that be DVD, web or both? DVDs are delivered with full colour labels and a choice of packaging. Edited video must be compressed in preparation for DVD creation. Then a menu has to be designed, buttons created and navigation tested. DVD copies? We’ll take care of it for you as part of production services.
Vision & Voice will prepare your video for web delivery. We can even upload to your YouTube channel. We will make sure your video looks great and the sound is in synch.
